Part A - Every order

A1Who we are, and these terms

Invifest makes designer digital invitations: a wedding or celebration invite that lives at its own link and opens in seconds on any phone. These terms are an agreement between you and Invifest, India ("Invifest", "we", "us"). You can reach us at any time, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week: on WhatsApp or by phone at +91 95744 86049, or by email at hello@invifest.in.

You accept these terms when you tick to agree to them at checkout or on a payment link, or when you pay for an order. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract, and the details you give us must be accurate and yours to give.

These terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy make up the whole agreement for your order. If anything on our website, in an advertisement or in a message says something different, these terms apply, unless we have agreed something else with you in writing for your order.

A2Words we use

A few words in these terms have a set meaning:

Invite: the invitation website we make for you, at its own link.
Order: everything paid for in one payment - a design with its add-ons, or what a payment link names.
Function: each event of your celebration, such as the haldi, the wedding or the reception.
Your details: everything we ask you for to make your order, such as names, functions with their dates, times and venues, photos and your song. They are complete when we have all of it.
First version: the first complete version of your invite, or of an add-on, that we send you.
Final invite: the version you tell us is final or, if you do not, your invite as it stands once its included changes are used up or their time has run out (A5).
We start an order when our team begins making it with your details.
In writing includes a WhatsApp message and an email.

A3How an order works

You choose a design and pay, or pay a link we send you. Your order is confirmed when the payment reaches us, and we email you a receipt.
A real person from our team messages you on WhatsApp within 15 minutes, between 9 am and 10 pm IST. If you pay outside those hours, our first message reaches you by 9:15 am IST, and you can write to us at any hour before then.
You send us your details. No time we give you can start before your details are complete, and details that arrive late, or keep changing, move it.
We make your order by hand and send it to you on WhatsApp, with an email as well.

Slots

Our designers take only so many invitations each month. Paying for a design reserves your slot in the month shown at checkout. When every slot is taken, you can send a request on WhatsApp instead, and we offer you the next slot that opens; nothing is charged for a request.

If your wedding moves, you can move your slot to a later month once, free of charge, as long as you tell us before we start making your invite.

A4Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees and paid once, as shown at checkout or on your payment link. They include applicable taxes unless the checkout says otherwise.
Payments are taken by Cashfree, or by Razorpay for cards from outside India. Your card and UPI details go to them, never to us.
A code from us takes effect at checkout and is used up when the payment is made. A payment link is made for one customer and can be paid once; a link we have cancelled cannot be paid.
We may refuse or cancel an order, for example after a mistake in a price, a suspected fraud, or content that A6 does not allow. If we cancel an order we have not made, we refund what you paid for it (A10).

A5Changes

Every invite includes two rounds of changes, even after you have shared the link. A link you have already sent updates by itself; nobody needs a new one.

One round is everything you send us together, in one message or one list. We make all of it and send the invite back to you; the next list you send is the next round.

You have 7 days from the day we send you the first version of your invite to send us your changes. The same 7 days apply to every change included with your order: for an add-on that comes with changes of its own (Part B), they count from the day we send you its first version. Included rounds not used within those 7 days lapse.

A mistake that is ours, like a name we spelled wrongly or a time we copied wrongly, we fix free of charge whenever you find it. Other changes, once your included rounds are used or their 7 days have passed, are paid: two more rounds are the "Two extra rounds of changes" add-on, at the price shown at checkout or on a payment link, and anything bigger we price for you before we start.

A6Your photos, words and song

Your names, photos, words, song and anything else you send us stay yours. You give us a limited licence to use, copy, adapt, host and display them only to make, deliver, host, change and fix your order, and for anything else you agree to in writing (A7). You confirm that you have the right to send them, including the consent of the people in your photos, and that using them as you ask does not break anyone's rights or any law.

There is one song for your whole invite, and you provide it. You confirm you have the right to use it on your invite. If the owner of the song, or a platform, objects to it, we may take it off your invite, and you can send us another song to use in its place.

Art made with the help of AI tools

Some of our art - a painting of the two of you, a caricature, the pages of a Wedding Wardrobe - is made with the help of AI image tools, from the photos you send us. Those tools are run by other companies. Every picture is checked by our designers before it reaches you, and anything that looks wrong (a hand, a face) is fixed within your rounds. If you would rather your photos were not used with AI tools, tell us before we start, and we will make that art another way or leave it out.

What we cannot put on an invite

Nothing you send us may be unlawful, defamatory, obscene or hateful, infringe anyone's rights or invade anyone's privacy, and nobody may use our sites to spread malware, get in where they are not allowed, or disrupt them. We may refuse such content, take it off an invite, or pause or cancel an order that depends on it; A10 then decides any refund.

A7Your privacy

We retain the material you provide (including your photographs, words, song and event details), the files we create for your order and any guest list or replies collected through your invite, in access-restricted records. We retain them for as long as your invite remains online, and process them only to make changes, provide copies, keep your invite working and comply with the law. You may ask us in writing, at any time, to delete any of them, and we will then delete them, save for anything the law requires us to keep. If anything you ask us to delete appears on your invite, it is removed from your invite as well. Aangan's records are deleted when Aangan closes (B3).

We will not use your invite, your names, your photographs or any detail of your celebration to display or promote our work, whether on our website, on social media, in samples, in advertising or anywhere else, unless you have first given us your express consent in writing. You may withdraw that consent at any time; we will then stop that use and remove the material from everything within our control. We do not sell your material or your guests' details to anyone. Access to them is restricted to our team and to the service providers who help us make and host your order. Every invite we host also asks search engines not to list it, so it is found through the link you share, not through a search for your names.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after personal data and the rights you have under Indian law.

A8What stays ours

Once you have paid, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use your invite for your own celebration and to share its link with your guests. Everything else that makes up our invites - the designs, layouts, code, animations and artwork, other than what you sent us - belongs to Invifest or to those who license it to us. You must not copy, clone, scrape, frame or mirror it, record it to pass on, resell or license it, reverse-engineer it, use it for another event, or use it to build a competing product. If that happens, we may take the invite offline and use every remedy the law gives us.

Every invite carries our maker's mark at its foot - "Handcrafted for (your names) by Invifest" - with a link to us. It is part of the design and cannot be removed.

A9"Yours for life"

Your invite's link has no expiry date and no yearly fee: you can open it, share it again and keep it as a memory.

"For life" means for as long as Invifest runs. If Invifest ever has to close, we will tell you at least 90 days before. If Invifest closes, or if your invite ever has to be shut down, we will send you, by email or on the WhatsApp number you use with us, a copy of your invite with simple steps to put it online yourself, your invite as a PDF to keep, and a copy of your guests' replies that we still hold. You may keep that copy online for your own celebration; the rest of A8 still applies.

A10Cancellations and refunds

Everything we make is made for you alone, from your own details. Once we have started your order, nothing paid for it is refunded, in any circumstance: not for a change of plans or of mind, not for a delay, and not for a part of the order you no longer need.

There is one exception. If you have paid and we have not made your order - because you cancelled before we started, or because we cancelled it or could not make it - we refund what you paid within 7 days of the cancellation, to the account or card you paid from (for a card from outside India, see B13). Your bank may take a few more working days to show it.

Money taken by mistake is not a refund, and we return it: if you were charged twice, or money left your account for a payment that failed, tell us with the transaction reference and we return the extra once the payment provider confirms it.

If something we deliver is wrong because of a mistake of ours, we fix it free of charge, whenever you find it (A5).

To cancel, or to ask about a payment, email hello@invifest.in with your order number. We are available 24/7, and we aim to reply within 48 hours at the latest; most answers come much sooner.

This section is our refund policy. Our Refund Policy page says the same, and if the two ever differ, this section applies.

A11Messages we send you

We email you about your order: the receipt, and each step until it is delivered. We message you on WhatsApp from +91 95744 86049 about your order. We never sell your details; our Privacy Policy says how we look after them.

By placing an order, you agree that we may also email you, now and then, one idea for your celebration, such as your invite as a film or as a PDF, and never the same idea twice. Every such email has a one-tap unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never stops the emails about your orders. We send offers on WhatsApp only if you have said yes to them there.

A12Our responsibility

We work hard to keep every invite beautiful and online, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or that it will work on every device. We are not responsible for failures of your network or device, or of services we do not run, such as WhatsApp, payment gateways and hosting providers. Nor are we responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as a power or network failure, a natural disaster or an order of a government; the times in these terms move by as long as such an event lasts.

As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for anything to do with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity. Nothing in these terms takes away any right the law gives you as a consumer.

If what you send us breaks someone else's rights, or you break these terms, you agree to indemnify Invifest and its team against the claims, losses and costs that follow.

A13Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please talk to us first; most things are settled in one conversation. You can also write to our Grievance Officer at hello@invifest.in. If a dispute still remains, the courts at Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over it. This does not affect any right you have under consumer protection law to approach a Consumer Commission.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms straight away, we may still enforce it later.

A14When these terms change

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Your order follows the version in force on the day you paid for it. When we change these terms, we will tell you by email, at the address on your order.

Part B - What you bought

B1Your invitation website

What you get. A personalised invitation website at its own link, made by hand by our designers in the design you chose: your names, every function with its date, time and venue, your photos and your song, and a reply form where the design has one. Guests' replies reach your private RSVP console, free with the invite.

When. The first version reaches you on WhatsApp within the design's time once your details are complete: 3 days for most designs, 24 hours for a few festival designs. The product page and the checkout say which. If you need it sooner, ask us: on request, we can make the first version in under 24 hours once your details are complete, and we confirm it with you before we start.

Changes. Two rounds included, sent to us within 7 days of the first version (A5).

The link. It opens in seconds on any phone, with nothing to install, and it is yours for life (A9). Anyone who has your main link can see every function on it.

Private links. If some guests are invited to only some functions, we can make a private link that shows only those functions. Whether one is included depends on the design you bought; where it is not, each private link costs ₹999, on every design. For full control over who sees which function, we recommend Aangan (B3), where every guest gets a personal link with only their own functions.

Your own web address. A custom domain in place of our link can be arranged on request. It may carry an extra charge, which we tell you before we start. You will need to give us everything we ask for to set it up, and how it is connected and put online is for us to decide. If the domain ever stops working, your invite stays at its Invifest link.

B2Invite for the other side

What you get. A second link in the same design for the other family: their names first and only the functions they are hosting, with the same date, so it still reads as one wedding. The price depends on the design and is shown at checkout.

It comes with two rounds of changes of its own (A5), and reaches you within 2 days of the first family's final invite.

B3Aangan, your guest dashboard

What you get. Your own dashboard for this invitation. Add your guest list once, send every guest a personal link from your own WhatsApp in a few taps, and see who has opened it, who is coming and how many, with every reply in one place. It works on your phone, and the whole family can use it.

The messages go from your own WhatsApp, to the people you choose. Please send them only to people who know you, the way WhatsApp's own rules ask.

Aangan stays open until 30 days after your last function. While it is open you can export your guest list and every reply as an Excel sheet, and before it closes we will remind you to do so. When it closes, everything in it, your guest list and every reply included, is deleted for good, so please export what you want to keep. Until then your guest list stays private to you and our team, and if you ask, we delete it sooner.

B4Your invite as a film

What you get. A short film made only from your own invite (the "4K video of your invite" at checkout): its words, its art and its song, with every page coming alive in turn. You get it in 4K, and as a light 720p for WhatsApp.

You can watch a sample film before you buy, and yours is made the same way. Its format - the order of its scenes, its pace, its length - is ours to decide. The film is made once, from your final invite: there are no changes to the film, and it is not made again if your invite changes later. It reaches you within 3 days of your final invite.

Instagram, YouTube and other platforms may mute or block a song they hold rights to. That is their rule, and outside our control.

B5PDF of your invite

What you get. Your invite itself, as a PDF file: your invite's own pages, words and art, laid out page by page in the same design, with every function and its date, time and venue. It is not a separately designed document. Print a few copies, or send it as one file on WhatsApp and email. You can see a sample PDF before you buy.

It reaches you within 3 days of your final invite. There are no changes to the PDF itself, but if your invite changes later, we make the PDF again once, free of charge. Colours on paper can look a little different from a screen; printing is up to you and your printer.

B6Extra rounds and other changes

Two extra rounds of changes make it four rounds in total instead of two. A change we price for you on WhatsApp is paid by a payment link and made on your own invite, at the same link.

B7Matching Save the Date

What you get. A short one-screen version of your design with your names, the date and the city, to send to your guests ahead of the full invitation.

It is made from your invite, once your invite is made: it reaches you within 3 days of the day we send you your invite's first version. It comes with one round of changes (A5).

B9Your caricature in the festivities

What you get. A caricature of the two of you, made from your photographs and placed on every ceremony card of your invite, in each ceremony's colours.

It comes inside your invite and reaches you with it. You choose its style once, before we begin, from the styles we offer - for example a cartoon, a 3D animated look or a hand-painted anime look - and we do not redraw it in another style afterwards. To make it, we may recreate your photographs, your venue or other pictures that suit your story, using AI image tools, photo-editing software and other tools (A6), and our designers finish it. It comes with one round of changes to the drawing (A5).

B10Wedding Wardrobe

What you get. A designed PDF style guide your guests get with the invite: a cover with your names, then one page for every function with its mood, its colours as real swatches and what suits the women and the men. It is for weddings and engagements. After you pay, we ask you on WhatsApp for your functions and their colours.

It is made ahead of your invite and does not wait for it: it reaches you within 3 days of the day you send us your functions and their colours. It comes with one round of changes (A5).

B11Wedding E-Album (coming soon)

What you get. Your wedding photographs as an album that opens on any phone: a book whose pages turn, with your song, and every photo telling its moment when it is tapped.

Its price is shown when you order. It is made from your photographer's own files; you confirm you have their permission to use them. It reaches you within 10 days of the photographs, with one round of changes (A5), and stays online for life (A9).

B12Custom orders and payment links

For something made just for you, we agree what it is on WhatsApp and send you a payment link with its name and price. Paid, it becomes an order like any other, with its own order page and emails. A link can be paid once, and we can cancel a link that has not been paid.

Its refunds follow A10, and an unpaid link stays valid until we cancel it.

B13Paying from outside India

Prices are in Indian rupees. A card from outside India is charged through Razorpay, and the checkout adds a line for it before you pay: international card processing, the gateway's 3% and the 18% GST on that fee. Your own bank may add a conversion charge of its own.

Where a refund is due (A10), it goes back to your card in Indian rupees. The international card processing is not refunded, because the gateway keeps it.

B14Gift pages

Our gift pages for a father, a mother, a girlfriend, a brother or a sister (on invifest.in) are made by you, step by step, with your own photos and words. You pay the price shown on the page, and the gift's link is made at once.

Because it is made the moment you pay, a gift page is not refunded once it is created, unless it does not work and we cannot fix it: a gift page like that counts as one we have not made, and the refund in A10 applies. Its link stays for life (A9).
