An elder's hands holding a phone: on WhatsApp Anush tells Nani ji the wedding date, the time and the venue, and where to park
In short

Anush AI is your family's helper on WhatsApp. Guests message or call her to ask the time, the venue, where to park or what to wear, and she answers only from what your family has taught her in Aangan. What she does not know, she asks you, and the next guest gets the right answer. Every chat stays in front of you.

What guests ask her

The calls you would get in the middle of the haldi

A guest asks; Anush answers from what your family taught her. What she does not know, she never makes up.

How it works

Taught by your family, in Aangan

  1. Teach her in AanganYour functions, the venue and how to reach it, travel and stay, the answers you already give, notes and voice notes, and how she greets your guests.
  2. Guests ask her on WhatsAppBy message, or by a call. The invitation can carry an Ask anything button that opens a chat with her, already knowing whose wedding it is.
  3. She answers from what you taught herOnly that guest's own functions, in the language they write in. What she does not know, she says she will find out, and asks you.
  4. You stay in chargeEvery chat is in Aangan. Reply from her number, change what she says from your own WhatsApp, or let her rest.
What she does

Careful with every guest

  • She knows who is asking

She answers once she knows which guest it is, from their number on your list, their personal link or a name they confirm, and tells each guest only their own functions.

  • She never guesses

What she does not know, she asks the family. The family answers once, and the next guest gets it.

  • Change her from WhatsApp

Up to five family numbers can change what she tells guests. She reads each change back and saves it only when you say Haan.

  • Different answers for different guests

Rules for some groups (a stay answer only for those staying with you), and one guest's own answer, like their room, told only to them.

  • Calls, done properly

She picks up a guest's WhatsApp call in Hindi or Hinglish, sends you a summary after every call, rings back a guest who called while she was busy, and wraps a call up kindly in five to seven minutes.

  • Unknown numbers wait for you

A number not on your list gets one polite reply and waits in Aangan for your approval.

Questions

Questions families ask about Anush AI

Is Anush AI a person?

No. Anush AI is an AI assistant on WhatsApp. She answers only from what your family has taught her, and your family can see every chat and step in at any time.

What can guests ask her?

The things they would otherwise call you about in the middle of the haldi: when and where each function is, how to get there and where to park, what to wear, travel and stay, and the answers your family has given her.

Can she take calls?

Yes. She answers WhatsApp calls in Hindi or Hinglish, one call at a time, and rings back a guest who called while she was busy. Calls wrap up in five to seven minutes, and you get a summary of each one.

What if she does not know the answer?

She does not guess. She tells the guest she will find out, asks your family, and once you answer, the next guest who asks gets it.

Can a guest learn about functions they are not invited to?

No. She first works out which guest is asking and tells them only their own functions.

Can we switch her off?

Yes. Your family can let her rest at any time, and guests are then given your family's numbers.
