Best digital invitation websites in India (2026): 15 options compared, with real prices

Some of these make an image or a video to forward. Some give you an editor to build a website yourself, a few build the website for you, and one only sends messages on WhatsApp. Here is what each one gives your guests, who does the work, where the replies go, how long the link lasts and what it costs.

How we compared them

What matters for an Indian wedding with several functions, a long guest list and elders opening it from WhatsApp:

  • What guests get: an image, a PDF, a video, or a link that opens in the browser.
  • Who makes it, and how soon it is ready.
  • Replies: per function, with names and counts in one place.
  • Who sees what: a link that shows a guest only the functions they are invited to.
  • Link life: how long it stays online, including after the wedding.
  • Price and refunds: in rupees with tax, paid once or every year.

Where we could not check something, we say so. Canva's help pages on free website limits did not open for us, Celebrare shows no rupee price on the pages we opened, and most services do not publish how long a link stays online. Where a company's own pages disagree, we quote its pricing page.

Invifest (ours)

Invifest makes the invitation website for you. You choose a design and send your names, functions, venues, photos and song on WhatsApp, and a designer builds it by hand: every function with its time, venue and map, your photos and song, and a reply form, on one link that opens in the phone's browser. Wedding designs cost ₹2,499 to ₹7,000, paid once. The first version arrives within 3 days of complete details, or in under 24 hours on request, with two rounds of changes included and no expiry date or yearly fee on the link (Terms, A9).

Where the replies go

Shubh Invitation's comparison says a host dashboard for replies "is not described" on our pages. Fair, so here it is. Replies go to a private RSVP console that is free with the invite, where you log in and export them to Excel. Aangan (₹3,000) adds a personal link for every guest, sent from your own WhatsApp, and shows who opened it, who is coming and how many. It closes 30 days after your last function and deletes everything, so you export what you want to keep.

Anyone with the main link sees every function. For guests invited to just one event, a separate one-event link is ₹999 at checkout, the other family's own link is ₹999 or ₹1,500 depending on the design, and Aangan shows each guest only their own functions.

  • Good for: families who want it made for them, with several functions and some kept to some guests.
  • Keep in mind: a person makes it, so it is not instant, and it costs more than an editor. Designers take a limited number each month; on 27 October most designs showed "No slots available", so check the design page. Nothing is refunded once work has started.

Shubh Invitation

Shubh Invitation sells painted, animated invitation links you make yourself: a page and a map for every function, one-tap replies, and a guest list showing who opened it and who is coming. Basic costs the design's own price (free, ₹399, ₹599 or ₹999 by tier). Celebration adds ₹200 for a WhatsApp video and up to 500 guests; Grand adds ₹400 for unlimited guests. Prices include taxes, and free invitations carry a small "Made with Shubh" mark. Its home page also offers to set it up for you from details sent on WhatsApp, with no published price.

  • Good for: couples happy to make it themselves, with replies per function at a low one-time price.
  • Keep in mind: its pages quote different prices (the home page says "Royal design, publish from ₹799"), so we used the pricing page. Link life is not published.

Wedsmint

Wedsmint is the nearest like-for-like service to ours: you pick a theme and send your details, and it builds a wedding website and digital card for ₹1,999. The first preview comes 2 to 3 days after complete details, which its terms call an estimate, with three revision rounds. Guests choose their events and a guest count, and features beyond the theme cost extra.

  • Good for: a done-for-you site at a lower price, when the theme's sections are enough.
  • Keep in mind: a host dashboard and the link's life are not described.

Wedence

Wedence starts free, with RSVP for your first 2 functions but "RSVP counts only" and no export. Pro (₹3,999, shown against ₹5,999 as a festive offer) adds named replies per function, Excel export and WhatsApp sending for up to 500 guests. Signature (₹7,999) adds a separate link for each group, so guests see only their functions. Concierge (₹29,999) hands the whole guest side to its team.

  • Good for: couples who want to run invitations, replies and reminders themselves.
  • Keep in mind: the free plan says "₹0 forever", but how long a published invitation stays online is not stated.

Invity

Invity is a do-it-yourself invitation website, "Ready in 5 minutes" by its own count, with headcount and per-event replies on every plan. It publishes the clearest link life of anyone: free 7 days, Grand 60, Royal 180, after which the invitation is archived until you renew. Grand is Rs 999 and Royal Rs 2,400, both half price with the code WELCOME50 until 31 October.

  • Good for: a quick site for a short window.
  • Keep in mind: even the top plan ends at 180 days, and music comes only with Royal.

PixerInvite

PixerInvite makes animated links you fill in yourself, where a ribbon unties or a gate swings open, and every plan can save a 20 to 30 second video of the invite. Replies arrive in one private list with a CSV download; replies per function come with Luxe. Its India guide lists Classic ₹999, Premium ₹1,499 and Luxe ₹1,999.

  • Good for: an animated opening and a short video, made yourself.
  • Keep in mind: editing closes the day after your last event, and its terms erase a paid invitation 13 months after that event.

Crafty Art

Crafty Art is a template app: images, PDFs and videos you edit, an AI caricature maker, and a wedding website maker with online RSVP and every function on a timeline with maps. Its plans are Starter ₹499, Pro ₹999 and Pro+ ₹2,999, with no billing period printed beside them; its FAQ says subscriptions bill monthly, quarterly or yearly.

  • Good for: regional-language templates and caricature cards at a low price.
  • Keep in mind: the free plan exports one template a day, and link life is not published.

Canva

Canva has free and paid templates for invitation images and videos, and a free wedding website builder whose page says you can "manage RSVPs and guest lists" and add a password. You design every screen yourself. Its Indian pricing page (canva.com/en_in/pricing), opened in a browser on 27 October 2026, shows Free, Pro Lite ₹1,590 a year and Pro ₹4,000 a year for one person.

  • Good for: a custom image or short video, if you like designing.
  • Keep in mind: for five or six functions, you build every page, the replies and the Hindi lines yourself (Canva or a designer).

WedMeGood

WedMeGood lets you customise a card and share it as a free website link; the PDF download costs INR 249. Its video invitations are made by its team, "starting from INR 749" in its FAQ, with sale prices from ₹500 and ₹6,999 for caricature or 3D. Videos take 72 working hours, and each edit after the first free one costs Rs. 499.

  • Good for: a quick card, or a made-to-order video.
  • Keep in mind: RSVP is only a line printed on the card, and its policy is no cancellation, no refund.

Celebrare and Desievite

Both make files to forward, not websites. Celebrare has PDF invites you fill in and videos its designers make, a standard video in "around 24 hrs" by its page; we found no rupee price on the pages we opened. Desievite is automated: free cards, premium cards from Rs 49 to Rs 199 and videos from Rs 149 to Rs 499, ready in 3 to 5 minutes, paid for only after a watermarked preview.

  • Good for: a low-cost card or video to forward.
  • Keep in mind: neither describes replies, and a forwarded file cannot be corrected.

Wedinvite

Wedinvite makes caricature, cartoon and traditional invitations as videos, e-cards and PDFs, delivered "within 48 Working Hours". Its home page shows ₹499; other prices need JavaScript. Replies and revisions are not described. A change after sending means a new file and a new forward.

Weddingkart and Samaro

These work around the invitation rather than making it. Weddingkart sends invitations and reminders on WhatsApp with reply buttons guests tap once. Basic is ₹5,999 plus 18% GST (₹7,079) with 2,000 message credits and WhatsApp-based RSVP; Standard is ₹17,699 with GST and adds travel and ID collection and AI voice calls. Some comparisons call Basic "send only", but its own pricing page lists RSVP in it.

Samaro is mainly event photo sharing, with animated invites whose page says RSVP is built in. A free event for 50 guests lasts 15 days; paid events cost ₹1,998 to ₹9,998 with 1-year validity. Which plan includes the invites is not stated.

  • Good for: messages sent and chased for you (Weddingkart), or photos shared at the event (Samaro).
  • Keep in mind: you still need the invitation itself.

For NRI couples: Paperless Post

Paperless Post is an American service with an Indian wedding category, sent by email, text or link, with RSVP tracking. It charges per guest in US dollars: free for the first 50 invitations, then $0.50, $1.05 or $1.44 per guest by tier. Hindi is not mentioned, and per-guest pricing adds up on a long Indian guest list.

Questions people ask

Which is the best digital invitation website in India?

It depends on the job. A free image or video: Canva, Desievite or WedMeGood. A website you build: Shubh Invitation, Invity, PixerInvite or Wedence. One made for you: Invifest (ours) or Wedsmint. Replies on WhatsApp: Weddingkart.

Can I make a digital wedding invitation for free?

Yes. Canva's free plan, Desievite's free cards, WedMeGood's free card link, Shubh Invitation's free designs (with a small "Made with Shubh" mark), Invity's free plan (7 days) and Wedence Free (2 functions) cost nothing. Expect a watermark, a short link life or fewer features.

Which digital invitation lets guests reply for each function?

Shubh Invitation, Wedence, Invity, PixerInvite (on Luxe), Wedsmint and Weddingkart. Invifest replies collect in a free private console, and Aangan adds a personal link for every guest.

Which invitation links do not expire?

Invifest's links have no expiry date and no yearly fee. Invity's last 7, 60 or 180 days, Samaro's free event 15 days, and PixerInvite erases a paid invitation 13 months after its last event. Most others do not publish a link life, so ask before you pay.

Do guests need an app to open a digital invitation?

No. A link opens in the phone's browser straight from WhatsApp, and images, PDFs and videos open inside WhatsApp itself.

How much does a digital wedding invitation cost in India?

From free to about ₹7,000 for a designer-made invitation website, more for custom work. Invifest's wedding designs are ₹2,499 to ₹7,000, paid once. Our cost guide lists every type.
