Multi-event wedding website: haldi, mehndi, sangeet, wedding and reception on one link
Every function on one link, each with its time, venue, map and dress code, and a reply for each. How it works, the builders compared, and who sees what.

A multi-event wedding website puts the haldi, mehndi, sangeet, wedding and reception on one link, each with its date, time, venue, map and dress code, and one reply form where guests tick the functions they will attend. Build it yourself on a builder that counts replies per function, or have it made, as we do at Invifest. The main link shows every function, so guests invited to only some need their own link.
On this page
An Indian wedding is not one event. It is five or six of them, often over two or three days and as many venues, and each has its own time, its own dress code and its own guest list. A multi-event wedding website is the one link that carries all of them, with a reply for each.
We make these invitations for Indian families, so this guide walks through a real one function by function, then covers what each function needs, how replies per function work, who should see what, and the builders you could use instead of us. We make Invifest, so weigh our view with that in mind. Facts about other builders come from their own pages, checked on 27 October 2026.
What a multi-event wedding website is
It is a small website at its own link, sent on WhatsApp, that opens in the phone's browser with nothing to install. Instead of one date and one address, it has a card or a page for each function: the haldi in the morning, the mehndi, the sangeet at night, the pheras at the muhurat, the reception. Each card carries its own date, time, venue and map, and one reply form asks guests which of the functions they will attend.
A printed card or an image can list the functions, but it cannot take a reply, open a map for each venue, or change when a time moves. A website built around one ceremony and one reception falls short the other way. An Indian wedding needs both, so the words to look for in any builder are "multiple events" and "RSVP for each function". Our guide to what an invitation website is covers the format itself.
One real invitation, function by function
Open the Sindoori demo on your phone and scroll to the festivities. It is a two-day wedding at one resort with six functions, each on its own card with its own painting:
| Function | When | Where at the resort | Dress code on the card |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sangeet Night | Day one, 7 pm | Grand Courtyard | Maroon, gold and cream; Indian or Indo-Western |
| After Party | Day one, 11 pm | The Lounge | None |
| Carnival, a daytime party with games | Day two, 11 am | Poolside Lawns | Pastel pink, peach and mint; comfortable daywear |
| Shera Bandi, the groom's procession | Day two, 6 pm | Entrance | None |
| Reception | Day two, 7 pm | Grand Banquet | Navy and gold; cocktail formal |
| Phere | Day two, 9 pm | Mandap Lawn | Maroon, gold and ivory; sarees, lehengas, sherwanis |
Every card has the day and the date, the time, a one-line note on what happens, the venue and a button that opens the map. Four of the six show the dress code as colour swatches with a plain note under them. The reply form at the end asks for a name and phone number, whether the guest will come, how many are coming, a tick box for each of the six functions with its date and time, a song for the dance floor, a food preference and, for fun, a line of marriage advice.
Your invitation follows your functions, not the demo's. Phulkari is built for the chooda, jaggo, mehndi and Anand Karaj, Firdaus for the mehndi, nikah and walima, and Kesariya for the haldi, mehndi, sangeet and pheras of a Rajasthani wedding, and in each one every function gets its own card.
What each function's card needs
- The weekday with the date. Check every weekday against a calendar. One groom told us his earlier video invitation, from another maker, had the wrong day of the week.
- The time, and what it means. For the pheras it is often the muhurat, which can fall at an hour nobody would choose: one wedding we made this year had its pheras at 1:31 in the morning.
- The venue, down to the lawn or the hall. When several functions share one resort, name the courtyard, the banquet or the mandap lawn, as the demo does.
- A map pin for the gate guests should use, not for the hotel's head office. Tap every pin on a phone before sending.
- The dress code, as colours and a plain note. "Traditional Indian: sarees, lehengas, sherwanis" tells an uncle more than "ethnic". Our dress code guide has the wording.
- One line on what happens, for friends who have never been to a haldi or a sehra bandi.
- For guests who travel, how far each venue is from where they are staying, in kilometres and in time.
A reply for each function
The reply form is where a multi-event website earns its keep. The caterer prices the sangeet dinner, the wedding lunch and the reception separately and needs a number for each, so ask four things:
- Will you come?Yes or no. Leave out "maybe": every maybe has to be chased later anyway.
- How many of you?A number for the household.
- Which functions?A tick box for each function, listing only the functions that guest is invited to.
- Do you need a stay? For guests from other cities, with their arrival date.
Where the replies go matters as much as the form. With an Invifest invitation that has a reply form, every reply reaches a private RSVP console, free with the invitation: each reply opens with all its answers, including the functions the guest ticked, and you can search the list, filter it by who is coming, and download it to Excel for the caterer. Aangan, our guest dashboard, adds a headcount for each function the moment a reply comes in, and you tap a function to see who is coming.
Elders will still call instead of filling in a form. Enter their replies in the same list, so the count stays in one place. Our RSVP guide covers the deadline, the reminder and the call.
Who sees which function
This is the rule families learn the hard way: anyone who has your main link sees every function on it. If an uncle forwards it to his office group, they see the haldi. So guests invited to only some functions need an invitation that shows only theirs:
- A link for each group. A separate link for one event, such as the reception, and the other family's own link with their names first and only their functions. Both are add-ons on our wedding designs, priced at checkout and on the pricing page.
- A personal link for every guest. In Aangan you tick the functions each guest or group is invited to; each guest's link greets them by name and shows only those functions, and you send it from your own WhatsApp.
- One link and a phone call, when the private function is small and nobody will mind seeing it on the invitation.
Hiding the other functions' cards is not enough. The countdown, the dress codes, any line that names another function and the reply form's tick boxes must all follow the guest's own functions. Our guide to inviting guests to only some functions has the full checklist and the wording, and bride's side and groom's side invitations covers two families hosting their own functions.
Indian wedding website builders with RSVP for every function, compared
If you would rather build it yourself, these builders handle several functions with a reply for each. We read each one's own pages on 27 October 2026; prices and plans change, so check before you start.
| Builder | Who builds it | Reply for each function | Who sees what | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Curated Knot | You, in a drag-and-drop editor | Yes: a separate form for each event, each with its own guest list | Forms by event and by guest group | Copy the RSVP link into a chat; sending from the dashboard is "coming soon" | Free; paid plans "coming soon" |
| Mangalyam | You, from templates, or an AI assistant from a chat | Yes | Each guest's personal link shows only their functions | Paste each guest's link into WhatsApp | Free for couples |

| WedSites | You | From the $99 plan | Events limited to the guests invited, on the reply form | Not mentioned; invitations by email | $39, $99 or $199, one time, for 6, 12 or 24 months online |
| Invifest (ours) | Our designers, by hand | A tick box for each function, where the design has a reply form | A link for each group, or a personal link per guest with Aangan | From your own WhatsApp, a tap per guest, with Aangan | Wedding designs ₹2,499 to ₹7,000, paid once |
Two more things to check before you choose. First, how long the link stays online after the wedding: The Curated Knot keeps a site live for at least six months after the wedding date, WedSites takes it offline when its hosting period ends, and an Invifest link has no expiry date. Second, whether replies come with names or only as counts. Our comparison of digital invitation websites covers more services, with prices, link life and refunds.
Build it yourself, or have it made?
- Build it yourself if you enjoy the editing, most guests will reply online, and someone in the family has a few evenings to fill in every function, proofread every weekday and test every map pin. Most builders are free or cheap because you do that work.
- Have it made if the wedding has five or more functions, the guest list runs from college friends to grandparents, two families host different functions, or you want art that looks like your wedding rather than a template.
At Invifest you choose a design, send your functions, venues, photos and song on WhatsApp, and our designers build it by hand: every function on its own card, with your dress codes and a reply form. The first version reaches you within 3 days of complete details, two rounds of changes are included, and the link you have already shared updates by itself when a time moves. Suraksha Das wrote on Google: "It genuinely felt like a reflection of our wedding and our personalities." Start from the designs, or ask for a custom invitation.

Questions people ask
What is a multi-event wedding website?
One invitation link with a card or page for each function, from the haldi to the reception, each with its own date, time, venue, map and dress code, and one reply form where guests tick the functions they will attend. Guests open it from WhatsApp in the phone's browser.
Can guests RSVP separately for each function?
Yes, when the form has a tick box for each function. The Curated Knot, Mangalyam, Wedence, Joy and WedSites (from its $99 plan) collect a reply for each event, and so does every Invifest design that has a reply form. List only the functions that guest is invited to.
Can different guests see different functions on one wedding website?
Not on one shared link: anyone with the main link sees every function on it. Personal links can. Mangalyam gives each guest a link with only their functions, Joy shows private events once a guest types their name, and Invifest's Aangan sends each guest a personal link with only their functions from your own WhatsApp. Without personal links, give each group its own link.
Which Indian wedding website builder has RSVP for multiple events and WhatsApp?
To build it yourself, The Curated Knot and Mangalyam are free, count replies per function and give you a link to share on WhatsApp, and Wedence's Pro plan sends on WhatsApp for you. To have it made by designers, Invifest, which is ours, with sending from your own WhatsApp through Aangan. Check how long each keeps the link online after the wedding.
Is there a free multi-event wedding website?
Yes. The Curated Knot and Mangalyam are free for couples, Joy is free, and Wedence's free plan has every function with a reply for each, with named replies from its Pro plan. Free means you do the building, the proofreading and the sending yourself.
Do I need a separate website for each function?
No. One link holds every function. You need extra links only for guests who should not see some functions, such as a reception-only link for colleagues or a link for the other family.
How do I send a multi-event wedding website on WhatsApp?
Paste the link into each guest's chat with a line in their name, or into a group only if everyone in it is invited to every function. Our guide to sending invitations on WhatsApp covers 300 guests without getting your number blocked.
What happens if a function's time changes after we send it?
On a website you change it once and everyone who has the link sees the new time. At Invifest the link you already shared updates by itself. A card or a video has to be made again and sent again.
